The Rainbow 6 jackpot stands at nearly $4 million into tomorrow after the Thursday sequence failed to produce nearly enough big prices to yield a solo winner. There were only 2 winning favorites in races 5-10, but 4 of the 6 winners were 2-1 or less, including POCKET CHANGE, who is now undefeated in 3 career starts after getting up late as the 4-5 favorite in the R10 finale for Gary and Mary West, trainer Jason Servis, and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr.
Each perfect 20-cent ticket today paid $2,441, with the odds on the respective winners being 2-1, 9-1, 2-1, 2-1f, 8-1, and 4-5f. The winning numbers were 3-5-5-4-1-6. New handle was just over $392,000.
Full results of the finale were 6-9-7-2-8, with big prices filling out the verticals behind the odds-on winner and a $1 super bringing $1,310.
First post for a 10-race Friday card is 12:35 ET, with the Rainbow 6 spanning races 5-10. Mike Welsch will be back at the GP helm for us here on DRF Live.
