Demi More could turn the tables on fastest qualifier Pops Tempting Wagon in Saturday night's Grade 3, $371,200 Oklahoma Futurity at Remington Park.
The 300-yard race set to have its 77th renewal is the longest-running futurity for Quarter Horses, according to officials with Remington.
Demi More was beaten three-quarters of a length in her career debut March 10, trial night for the Oklahoma Futurity. Pops Tempting Wagon, who won the race, covered 300 yards in 15.41 seconds to set the fastest qualifying time for the Oklahoma Futurity.
Demi More had two horses beat early and finished well and has reason to move forward for the experience. She's also appealing on pedigree as she's a daughter of Corona Cartel and the Strawfly Special mare A Tiny Bit More. She will break to the outside of Pops Tempting Wagon, with that one in post 5 and Demi More in gate 7.
Demi More is one of five fillies in the 10-horse Oklahoma Futurity.
Another runner of interest is Cr Smoke, who won her trial on the front end and draws well in post 9.
