Jockey Efrain Hernandez will not ride on Sunday after being involved in a spill at Los Alamitos on Saturday evening.
Hernandez was involved in a two-horse accident. He was aboard You're a Daisy, who broke down while leading an 870-yard race for Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds. Hernandez did not sustain any broken bones, but must undergo tests on shoulder ligaments in coming days, according to his agent, Frank Quesada.
Hernandez has won three races from 11 mounts at the current Santa Anita winter-spring meeting.
Here is a glance at his replacements -
In the third race, Santiago Gonzalez will ride Geocas Dream (5).
In the fifth race, Gonzalez has the mount on Kristo (6).
In the ninth race, Ruben Fuentes rides Reinahermosa (7).
