Conquest Cobra, who finished second in an allowance race with a $62,500 claiming option in Friday's eighth race, was claimed by trainer Mark Rheinford for Horseplayers Racing Club.

The optional claimer was Conquest Cobra's first start since a third in the Grade 1 Triple Bend Stakes behind Denman's Call on March 11, 2017. Conquest Cobra was trained by Vladimir Cerin on Friday and earlier in his career.

The 6-year-old gelding has won 4 of 20 starts.

Friday's optional claimer was won by Ten Blessings ($3) in his second start of the year. Ridden by Drayden Van Dyke, Ten Blessings ran seven furlongs in 1:22.53 and won by 1 3-4 lengths over Conquest Cobra.

Ten Blessings was third in the Grade 1 Malibu Stakes for 3-year-olds at seven furlongs in December, 2016. Ten Blessings has won 3 of 7 starts in a career that began in February 2016.
