Animosity, a first-time starter by Animal Kingdom, scored a surprise win in Saturday's fifth race for 3-year-old maiden fillies in the opening race of the pick six.

Ridden by Tyler Conner, Animosity ($70.20) was the seventh choice in a field of 11. The filly, purchased at the 2017 Barretts March select sale of 2-year-olds for $85,000, outran 30-1 Vegas Palm, leading to a $1 exacta payoff of $674.40.

The pick six began with a carryover of $173,091 in the single ticket jackpot pool. Bettors added $134,014 on Saturday.
