It looked like Crafty Jack, a 35-1 shot trained by Marcus Vitali, was going to upset Slot, a 1-2 shot trained by Todd Pletcher, but it was Slot who outfinished Crafty Jack to get the victory. The two horses exchanged bumps in midstretch but there was no inquiry or objection.
It's been a long meet folks, people want to get out of here.
