The 2018 Gulfstream Park Spring-Summer meet kicks off today with an abbreviated 8 race program with post time now advanced to 1:00 P.M. daily.  There were some light showers in the area this morning, the first rain sighted around here in some time.  But the main track remains fast and the turf is firm.  There will also be a carryover of nearly $44K in the Rainbow 6 which begins on the 3rd race.
