Machtree early favorite in Wando Stakes

Machtree opened up as the tepid 2-1 favorite over Pipers Warrior in the $100K Wando Stakes. Both looked good in the paddock, especially the former, who's making his first non-turf start for trainer Mark Casse.

Rafael Hernandez, who's already won three races on the card, rides Pipers Warrior for trainer Mike DePaulo.
