Goodonehoney was 8/1 when she won her career debut and only start before Saturday, a maiden race open to $40,000 claimers or Maryland-breds like Goodonehoney. Goodonehoney ran well, winning by almost five lengths, but it's still hard to understand how she got bet to 3/1 in the Weber City Miss, run a few minutes ago at Laurel Park. In fact, Goodonehoney made that price seem like a gift, setting a strong pace, 46.76 to the half-mile, but never coming back to the field and posting a blowout victory. She ran about 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.49.
Indy Union ran a very odd race to finish second, dropping back from mid-pack to the rear of the field at the head of the far turn and seemingly destined for a last-place finish before suddenly kicking into gear and coming with a long, sustained run. Favored Shamrock Rose finished third.
