Inflexibility, away from the races since winning an Ontario-bred stakes at Woodbine last Oct. 22, returned a winner in Sunday's opener, stalking In the Lee to the top of the stretch then finishing up very well under Javier Castellano to give trainer Chad Brown his 13th winner of the abbreviated spring meet. Brown, who has never before won an Aqueduct Spring meet title, leads Linda Rice by two with nine races left. Rice has horses in four of the remaining nine races while Brown has runners in two of the remaining races.
Inflexibility ran 1 1-16 miles in 1:41.52 and returned $3.80 to win.
