Diamond King (Federico Tesio) - 84
Goodonehoney (Weber City Miss) - 86
Chalon (Primonetta) - 88
Caribou Club (Henry Clark) -94
Hallie Belle (Dahlia) - 86
It's a little hard to square the numbers from the Henry Clark and the Dahlia. Both were one-mile grass races run just 67 minutes apart on a turf course that didn't appear to be dynamic. Caribou Club was timed in 1:34.40, Hallie Belle in 1:34.70.
The 3yo boys in dirt-route stakes have generally been much faster than the 3yo girls this year. Not at Laurel yesterday. Goodonehoney's 86 in the Weber City Miss topped the colt Diamond King's 84 in the Tesio, and an 86 in this crop to date puts Goodonehoney in the conversation for graded-stakes success, especially considering the Weber City Miss was her second career start and first around two turns.
