Long Haul Bay, absent from the races since running fifth in the Woody Stephens last June, returned like every other Chad Brown runner has this spring, with a dynamic performance, winning this second-level allowance race by 4 1-2 lengths and running six furlongs in 1:09.04.
Long Haul Bay won the Grade 3 Bay Shore Stakes last April.
It was the third win on the card for Brown who won the opener with Inflexibility and then ran 1-2 in the $100K Memories of Silver Stakes with Significant Form Wealth Effect.
Brown was leading trainer at the meet with 15 wins.
