Brad Cox starts favored Mrs Rocco in Race 2 at Keeneland, enters closing week as leading trainer

The public has settled on a favorite in race 2 - Mrs Rocco - though I'd guess the public's support is more the result of the achievements of trainer Brad Cox than the filly's past performances. Cox has been a tear all year - from Fair Grounds to Oaklawn to Keeneland - but has been particularly hot here at the Big K.

His numbers heading into closing week: 12 for 23 - good for a 52-percent win mark.

He entered Wednesday's card one up on Chad Brown (11 for 21) in the race for leading trainer with the meet wrapping up on Friday.
