Perez, mount appear to escape serious injury in seventh race incident at Lone Star

Jockey Francisco Perez and his mount, Ears a Winner, both appear to have escaped serious injury in a seventh race incident Sunday at Lone Star Park. 

Perez was thrown from his mount down the backside in the turf sprint, and a portion of the inside rail is down. Perez walked away from the incident. Ears a Winner hit the rail, rolled, got up and galloped through the wire.
