Eurico Da Silva made a triumphant return from a suspension by scoring a triple on the 10-race card. His ride in the ninth on shipper Lauderdale was eventful, because the son of Silent Name lugged in badly through the stretch, en route to a neck score over Ginger Sky.

Leading trainer Norm McKnight sent out Bayerd and runner-up Giant Storm in the seventh, along with fourth-race victor Reimagined. Amazingly, he has yet to miss the board with 21 starters at the meet, during which he's recorded 12 wins, 4 seconds and 5 thirds.
The handle was a solid $4.5 million.
