Delta Downs in Vinton, La., will put on a pair of rich Quarter Horse futurities over the weekend, with Rogue One leading Friday night's $283,715 Lassie and capable maiden Runaway Roulette landing a key post for Saturday night's $359,715 Laddie. 

The races are restricted to 2-year-old qualifiers bred in Louisiana. 

Rogue One set the fastest qualifying time for the Lassie for fillies when she won her 330-yard trial in 16.75 seconds April 27 at Delta. There were two other qualifiers to emerge from the same race, Im for Real and Brexit, who finished a respective second and third to Rogue One. The fillies ran in the fourth of 13 trials run April 27.  

Everardo Rodriguez was aboard Rogue One for her trial, and has the mount again for the finale, when she will break from post 2. Rogue One started from the five-hole in her trial, and was always prominent for a three-quarter length win in what wa her career debut. Martin Trejo trains Rogue One, a February foal owned by Rogue Equine.

Im for Real and Brexit, a pair of January foals, also return for the finale Friday. 

The maiden Runaway Roulette will break from the widest gate in the 10-horse Laddie, which is for colts and geldings. He was the second fastest qualifier for the series during the April 28 trials when he was edged by a nose. Acoronas Toast won to remain undefeated in two starts, and his time of 16.69 seconds for the 330 yards made for the fastest qualifying trial of the 15 run for the Laddie. 

Acoronas Toast was a $6,000 supplement to the trials for the Laddie, according to a press release from Delta Downs. He will break from post 3 under Eddie Sanchez, who was aboard for the trial. Acoronas Toast won his career debut Feb. 24, in a trial race at Louisiana Downs.
