Jockey Gary Stevens, who has ridden primarily in Arkansas and Kentucky this year, is back in California and riding at Santa Anita for the first time this calender year on Friday.

Stevens has three mounts on the eight-race program. He finsihed last of eight in the first race on Ryder's Starlight. His next mount is Goseecal (7) in the third race, followed by Calabasas (6) in the sixth race.
