This emphatic score erased the bad taste of Irish War Cry's dismal effort last time out in the Gulfstream Park Mile, in which he was eased late. Moreover, it suggested that Irish War Cry might be a player of some importance going forward in a weakened older dirt male division that, at this point in time, can use all the quality additions it can get.
