There is just a single scratch on the 7-race card that begins at 1:50 p.m Pacific.

Take (6) Neveradoubt out of Race 4.

There are short fields to start out the day, but they seem to be competive races, and quite often the Pick 4 at Hastings has been paying more than it should.

The key to hitting the early Pick 4 is (3) Venetian Mask in the final leg. He has a class edge on the field and is stretching out to his favorite distance after warming up with a couple of sprints.
