The aptly named odds-on favorite Have Hope won race 4 at Pimlico on Memorial Day, the first leg of the mandatory payout Rainbow 6.
Trained by Anthony Farrior and ridden by Jevian Toledo, she paid $3.60 in the conditioned $7,500 claiming sprint. Have Hope held off 5-1 Crystal Pier, who was unable to get by in the final furlong, by about a half-length.
A total of $1,314,879 in fresh money was bet into the Rainbow 6 pool on top of the carryover of $279,837.
