Steady showers have begun about 45 minutes prior to first post at Gulfstream Park which could have a big impact on today's 12 race card.  No official updates as yet regarding status of the two tracks although the main is sealed and likely to start sloppy.  The turf was rated "good" prior to the showers but likely to go downhill from there.  Today's main event, a $48,000 allowance, is scheduled to be run at a mile on the grass with Kroy the likely odds on choice no matter which surface the race ultimately goes over.  Awaiting further updates.

There are three turf races in the six race Rainbow 6 sequence which begins with the 7th event and a carryover of more than $715K to start the day.
