Laurel Park: Carteret wins race 2 as pacesetting Kukulkan ducks out in final sixteenth

Carteret ($13.40) wins race 2 at Laurel unde rjockey Julian Pimentel.

Front-running Kukulkan might have held on if he hadn;t ducked out from the rail to the middle of the track at the sixteenth pole.

Carteret is trained by Kelly Rubley, who is seven for 22 since June 2.
