Draft Pick, winner of the Grade 3 Affirmed Stakes at Santa Anita on June 10, headlines a field of five in the Grade 3 Los Alamitos Derby on Saturday.
The $150,000 Los Alamitos Derby is run at 1 1-8 miles.
Trained by Peter Eurton for Lee and Susan Searing, Draft Pick drew the rail. His rivals are the stakes winners Ax Man and Blended Citizen and the outsiders King Cause and Once On Whiskey.
The Los Alamitos Derby is the leading race on the final weekend of the track's three-week summer meeting, which concludes on Sunday. Del Mar opens its summer meeting on July 18.
