The Downs at Albuquerque has been named host of the 2019 Bank of America Challenge Championships, according to an announcement from the New Mexico track. The event of championship Quarter Horse races will tentatively be held Oct. 26, 2019.
It is the first time the Challenge Championships will be held at Albuquerque and the first time the state of New Mexico has hosted the series since Sunland Park in 1993, according to a press release.
