Red-hot trainer Jim Ensom's productive week continued when he doubled up with two favorites on the turf, Dexter Road and Crazy About Jazz.

Crazy About Jazz dueled for the lead all the way in the eighth, and then dug in late to prevail in a photo over Sky Vision, who was claimed. Nobody won the Jackpot Hi 5 outright on the race, and the carryover heading into Saturday is just under $70K.

Luis Contreras was the riding star of the afternoon with a three-bagger, which included both Ensom winners. Apprentice Daisuke Fukumoto won a thriller aboard 4-1 Coolshade, who nosed out 35-1 bomb Bois Bande in a $16K maiden route on the lawn.

The handle was a solid $3.1 million on the less-than-stellar card.
