The Lone Star Park Racing Club is now 3-for-3 this meet after Fred's Lucky Boy ($7.40) won the first race by three-quarters of a length Friday night. The Racing Club also has won races this meet with Lodi Street and Peej. 

Fred's Lucky Boy was offered for a claiming price of $12,500 in the turf sprint and he was haltered by trainer Steve Roubion. The new owner is Madelon L. Bradshaw.

Lane Luzzi rode Fred's Lucky Boy for trainer J.R. Caldwell. Fred's Lucky Boy was winning his fourth straight race at the meet.
