Dream Pauline, a daughter of Tapit out of the Grade 1 winning mare Dream Rush -- and a half-sister to the Grade 1 winner Dreaming of Julia, returned from a nine-month layoff to win her second career start nicely for Stonestreet Farm and Kiaran McLaughlin.
Dream Pauline sat an inside trip under Castellano, tipped three wide turning for home and edged away late from Mizzen Max to win by two lengths.
Dream Pauline debuted at Aqueduct in December winning by six lengths but hadn't been since since.
She ran six furlongs in 1:09.52 and have to think she's a candidate for the Grade 2, $250,000 Prioress here on Sept. 2.
