Brian Sears was noticeably disappointed after Greenshoe made a break as the 3-5 favorite.
"He's got to learn how to not make mistakes, said Sears following the race.
Sears guided stablemate Gimpanzee to a track record victory earlier this week at Saratoga in NYSS action for 2YO colts.
"He's a nice colt too," said Sears, "But when this horse is on his game (Greenshoe) he's better."
