Kiaran McLaughlin won his second race today with a main-track only entrant as The Caretaker rallied by Vitsal to take this NY-bred allowance race. Luis Saez up.

McLaughlin also won the opwner with Exulting ($5), who was also entered for the main track. McLaughlin now has four winners from just nine starters at the meet.

McLaughlin now will saddle Lido in the still on-the-turf $100,000 De La Rose Stakes. Lido finished third behind A Raving Beauty and Inflexibility in the Grade 3 Beaugay over "good" Belmont turf in May.

The turf course for the De La Rose is labeled as soft.
