Cape Angel ($11.80) was a fairly easy winner of this starter allowance over what looked to be a pretty soft (never firm and maybe not good) turf course.

Flyoff, the 8-5 fave under Jose Ortiz, finished 2nd, but was disqualified to 3rd after bumping with Fuel the Burn, under Irad Ortiz Jr.

No claim of foul was lodged, but the stews did immediately light the inquiry sign. It took longer than it should have, but the stews ultimately made the correct call in disqualifying Flyoff, placing him third beind Fuel the Burn.
