Queen's Plate and Prince of Wales runner-up Aheadbyacentury is scheduled to take a spin on the main turf course Saturday at 10 a.m. in advance of next Saturday's $400K Breeders' Stakes, the final leg of the Canadian Triple Crown. Trainer John Ross said he will decide on whether or not run him in the 12-furlong turf event for Canadian-bred 3-year-olds after watching him go.
"Luis Contreras is going to be on him," Ross said. "I'm going to let him two-minute-lick down the lane. I wanted him to work on the training turf on Wednesday, but the weather didn't permit it. If he feels good, and handles it well, we're going to go."
