Chad Brown unleased perhaps the most impressive looking 2-year-old filly of the meet in Feedback, who just cruised to an 8-length debut while jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. took her in hand the final sixteenth and patted her on the head and neck before the wire.
Feedback is a daughter of Violence out of the Tale of the Cat mare Honest Answer, who is a half to the Grade 1 winner I Ain't Bluffing.
Feedback, bobbled at the break, then attended the pace of 22.05 seconds for the opening quarter set by She's Got It All.
Feedback took over middle of the turn and ran a half-mile in 45.71 seconds, and covered the 6 1-2 furlongs in 1:16.33.
Takecharge Mirella rallied to get second over She's Got It All.
If Brown chooses to run her back in 20 day, this looks like a Spinaway filly to me. If not, there is the Grade 1 Frizette on Oct. 7.
