Moonlit Garden took control from the outset and never looked back en route to a 1 1/2 length victory in the $100,000 Summer Colony Stakes. A Place to Shine rallied from last to finish second over Forever Liesl with the 8-5 Awestruck fourth in a field of just five fillies and mares.  Moonlit Garden was ridden to victory by Jose Ortiz for trainer Christopher Davis and paid $6.30.
