Can You Diggit, under Junior Alvarado rallied down the center of the track and got up by a neck over Pat On the Back to win the $100,000 Evan Shipman Stakes for New York-breds.
It was 1 1-4 lengths back to the pace-setting Control Group in third.
The win was the fifth straight at the meet for trainer Jimmy Jerkens, who won two races on Aug. 16, one yesterday and two today. Junior Alvarado was aboard both winners today.
