CAMPAIGN (8) was visually impressive breaking his maiden here at Kentucky Downs last week, winning by more than five lengths. In his first start on turf, Campaign rallied from slightly off the pace, drawing away convincingly; it's understandable that he's the favorite in this spot at odds of 3-1 (11 MTP), but I think there's an interesting alternative to him if you're not completely convinced.
DEMOLITION (6) makes his turf debut for trainer Ian Wilkes, and his pedigree would suggest that this is the surface he's wanted all along. A son of Blame (10% FTT), Demolition is a full sibling to a turf winner and a half sibling to another turf winner; his dam, Annihilation, was also a stakes winner on grass. I'm hopeful he gained some fitness in his return off the bench at Saratoga on August 3 and is ready to take a step forward with the surface switch; Demolition is 8-1 with 11 MTP.
