Divine Miss Grey, at 1-9, defeated two others when she won the Grade 3, $200,000 Dr. James Penny Memorial in hand Saturday at Parx Racing. Truth in the Lies was second and Care Lady, third. The race that was originally scheduled for turf was run on a sloppy, sealed main track Saturday.
Divine Miss Grey led throughout to cover the mile and a sixteenth for fillies and mares in 1:43.40. Junior Alvarado was aboard for trainer Danny Gargan.
