In what seems a wide open 2-year-old maiden race coming up at Keeneland, I like a price in Candizar (8). He looked ready to win in midstretch of his debut at Kentucky Downs when rapidly advancing on the leaders, only to be shut off and steadied inside the final furlong, resulting in him running third. He is 7-1 with 20 minutes to post and will hopefully stay around that price.

Other logical contenders include Moon Colony (11), the expected favorite; first timer He's No Lemon (10); and Proud as Punch (12), who like Candizar enters this race off a debut third at Kentucky in a shorter race.
