Restless Rider figures to head to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies as one of the leading contenders after an authoritative score in the Grade 1 Alcibiades Friday at Keeneland.
Hustled away to stalk the pace by Brian Hernandez Jr., Restless Rider went after early leader Meadow Dance on the second of two turns, and drew away for a 2 1/2-length score. She raced 1 1/16 miles on a fast track 1:44.23, paying $4.60 as the favorite.
Reflect launched a rally on the turn and down the lane but never posed a danger to the winner while settling for second. Meadow Dance, meanwhile, held third.
Restless Rider will head to Churchill Downs with a proven affinity for the strip, having won a pair of races there in the spring meet for trainer Kenny McPeek.
