Jess Move You, winner of the Grade 1 Ruidoso Derby in June, will be chasing after another stakes victory Sunday, when he starts as the probable favorite in the Grade 3, $80,000 Hobbs America Derby at Zia Park. 

The Hobbs America Derby, at 440 yards, will share a card with the Grade 2, $80,000 Hobbs America Futurity. Both races are for Quarter Horses. 

Jess Move You won his trial for the Hobbs America Derby by three-quarters of a length Sept. 23. One start prior he finished fifth, beaten a length and three-quarters by Hotstepper, in the Grade 1 All American Derby at Ruidoso. He will break from post 3 on Sunday. 

Badhabit Jess could go favored in the Hobbs America Futurity off a trial win Sept. 22. Earlier in the year he finished seventh, beaten two lengths, in the Grade 1, $3 million All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs.
