Blue Prize struck the lead in upper stretch and, despite drifting out dramatically in the lane, held on for a narrow win over Champagne Problems in the Grade 1, $500,000 Spinster on Sunday at Keeneland.
Blue Prize had edged Champagne Problems by a nose in last month's Grade 3 Locust Grove at Churchill - one of three graded stakes victories at the Breeders' Cup host track for Blue Prize.
