Cruel Intention ($2.40) was ridden by Drayden Van Dyke in a performance that seemed more like a workout through the stretch. By Smiling Tiger, Cruel Intention won by 5 1-2 lengths over 7-1 Teacher's Treasure who was 15 1-2 lengths clear of third-place finisher Unusual Angel (40-1).
