Apprentice jockey Heriberto Figueroa moved into fourth-place in the jockey's standings through Saturday's fourth race with a win on Wild Verse ($3.60) in a maiden claimer at six furlongs. Figueroa won the third race on Kershaw ($5.40).
Figueroa is three wins behind leaders Flavien Prat and Drayden Van Dyke, and one behind fellow apprentice Assael Espinoza, who won Saturday's first race.
For the remainder of the afternoon, Figueroa has three more mounts, including two morning-line favorites - Sharona Sunset (5) in the sixth race and Ninety Nine Proof (1) in the eighth race.
