The $70,000 Sunny Slope Stakes drew a field of six but will have only four starters on Sunday after the morning withdrawals of Rickey B (4) and Principe Carlo (6).
While there will be no show betting, the race still is loaded with promising 2-year-olds, notably Seven Scents (1), Sparky Ville (3) and Savagery (5). Shark (2) will be a longshot.
Seven Scents was second in the Barretts Juvenile at Los Alamitos last month. Sparky Ville has been gelded since finishing sixth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity. Savagery won a $62,500 claimer for maidens at Del Mar on Aug. 11.
