In addition to the workout action at Churchill Downs Thursday morning, a few Breeders' Cup runners turned in breezes down the road at Keeneland. One of the biggest names of the bunch was Mile prospect Oscar Performance, who breezed five furlongs in 1:01 2/5. He is seen in the included video, under a hold on the outside.
Others included Concrete Rose, one of the leading contenders for the Juvenile Fillies Turf, who went a half in 49 seconds for Rusty Arnold; Juvenile Turf Sprint pre-entry Strike Silver, who went the same distance in 48 1/5; and Juvenile Fillies contender Restless Rider, yet another who went a half-mile, this time in 48 2/5.
