Jockey Kali Francois went down hard in race 1 at Laurel Park but got to her feet quickly, according to track announcer Dave Rodman, and later confirmed she is okay. Francois rides again in race 6.

Francois was aboard Temple Sky down along the inner rail on the far turn of the 5 1/2-furlong turf sprint. Francois steadied but Temple Sky appeared to clip the heels of Wiggle Room, unseating Francois.

Wiggle Room stumbled but did not fall and completed the course.
