LOUISVILLE, Ky. – An oversubscribed field of fillies and mares was entered Monday for the 12th running of the Grade 1, $1 million Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, to be run Saturday at Churchill Downs at seven furlongs.

Marley’s Freedom, the 8-5 favorite for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, was assigned post 13 in a full gate of 14. In all, 15 were entered, with Dream Pauline being the lone-also eligible.

The Filly-Mare Sprint goes as the 3rd race Saturday (post, noon Eastern) and the first of 9 straight BC events.
