With the Hollywood Derby and Matriarch, the two Grade 1 races of the fall meet at Del Mar, to be run this weekend, it's not surprising that the turf course is being given another day to recover after yesterday's storm. So, the three turf races today have been moved to the main track, and as a result there are numerous scratches.

Here is the latest as of 11:40 am Pacific:

Race 3 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 4 and 7

Race 4 -- scratch numbers 4 and 8

Race 5 -- scratch numbers 5 and 6

Race 6 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9

Race 8 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 6, 8, and 10

The track was open for training this morning. As of now, the main track is rated as good.
