Mike Karty's Howling Pigeon Farm sold 80-percent of the filly Needs Supervision to owners Gary Barber, Wachtel Stable, and Madaket Stable following her Nov. 24 first-level allowance win at Churchill Downs. Trained by Jerry O'Dwyer, Needs Supervision arrived at Fair Grounds early Tuesday morning following a long van ride from her base at Laurel Park. She's listed as the 3-1 second choice for the $150,000 Silverbulletday. Needs Supervision, by Payneter out of Moroccan Rose, by Carson City, cost $55,000 at a 2-year-old auction last May. She was second in her career debut, won a productive Laurel Park maiden race second time out, then was shipped to Churchill, where she posted a five-length win in a sloppy one-turn mile, earning an 83 Beyer Speed Figure.
