Aside from the two Pegasus World Cup events, there are 7 supporting stakes on the 12-race Saturday card here at Gulfstream. Among the notable names on the undercard are STORMY LIBERAL and WORLD OF TROUBLE, who are rematched in the GP Turf Sprint (race 3) some 12 weeks after finishing 1-2 with huge Beyers in the BC Turf Sprint, and SHAMROCK ROSE, the probable favorite in the G3 Hurricane Bertie (race 7) when making her first start since winning the BC Filly and Mare Sprint.
Other undercard events are the Ladies' Turf Sprint (race 5), South Beach (race 6), G3 La Prevoyante (race 8), G3 Fred W. Hooper (race 9), and G3 W.L. McKnight (race 10).
First post Saturday is 11:30 a.m. ET. The $7 million Pegasus Turf (race 11) is scheduled for 4:57 and the $9 million Pegasus World Cup (race 12) at 5:36. Both will be shown live on a 90-minute broadcast on NBC.
Gulfstream is offering guaranteed pools in the Rainbow 6 (R7-12, $750k), late pick-5 (R8-12, $750k), and late pick-4 (R9-12, $1 million). If the Rainbow 6 isn't swept this week by a solo winner, there will be a mandatory forceout Sunday, which surely will lead to several million dollars in handle.
Here follows the link to the full Saturday overnight. Full PPs will be up shortly on drf.com.
