It has been a wet morning in Hot Springs, Ark. Oaklawn clockers labeled the track muddy for workouts and a wet track is anticipated for the nine-race card that starts at 1:30 p.m. Central.
Despite the weather, there is sunshine on the program in the form of the allowance feature. It drew Grade 3 winners Shotgun Kowboy, Colonelsdarktemper and Limation. C Z Rocket also is part of the field, and trainer Al Stall talks about the horse's move to two turns in the following race preview: https://www.drf.com/track-news/top-news/c-z-rocket-trying-two-turns-at-last-457070
Other high points on the card include half-sisters to Grade 1 winners Paradise Woods and Whitmore meeting in a maiden allowance that goes as Race 9. In addition, trainer Allen Milligan enters the card one win from career victory 1,000.
